11 ¶ Behold, the days come, saith the Lord God, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the Lord:

Week 59 Drammen Norway
Wassup everyone!
This week was so busy and fun, we had a lot of lessons and member dinners which was great! Bjørn is progressing well so that's good. We went and did some service with him and we were cutting down trees when all the sudden Elder Meldrum missed a tree and hacked his shin with an axe! It was so funny but low key sad, Bjorn told him he'd better leave the axe cutting to the true Vikings in Norway. It's healing well but kind of scary. The members invited us to play some co ed softball with them this week. We balled out and won the tournament, I hit some dingers so that was fun! We've been talking to so many people here in more normal natural ways and we're finding it works well for us. On Monday, we flew way up north to Tromsø for zone conference which was sick! I've been wanting to head up there since I got to Norway. We had splits then went on a sick hike that reminded me of the mountain in the movie The Grinch. We also went fishing a ton here and I caught about 12 fish and then for dinner that night I made fish n chips out of the cod I caught, so that was money.
Love y'all have a good week!

Week 58 Drammen Norway
Wassup everyone, another solid week in the books!
We had some good lessons with Bjørn this week and his wife even joined in which was cool. He said something I liked this week, after he was done reading the Book of Mormon he said, "That book just makes sense, it's a very complex book that couldn't have been made up by anyone but also so simple that a man like me could understand it!" It was so cool, we're hoping to help him start living some of the commandments better so he can enter the waters of baptism. Elder Meldrum and I would probably both have to get in the water because he is a BIG dude! He's a big teddy bear though, super nice guy. We also have been taking Vilde with us to dinner appointments and lessons and she loves it! She's a good missionary and has been sharing the gospel with everyone which is dope. She also took us up to her parents farm and it was super fun but soooo tempting. They had tons of horses, dirt bikes, lakes and all sorts of stuff. They kept asking us if we wanted to take the horses for a ride or the dirt bike for a spin or if we'd like to come on a camping/fishing trip with them. We had to tell them that we have certain rules as missionaries but that we appreciate the invite. Pretty tough but we said that when we come back we are definitely keen! Love being out here and doing the Lords work!
Have a good one and take it easy.
